Love Cassian’s unique name with all of the most gorgeous alabaster skin and hint of red hair. Mom informed me after seeing all of the setups I had ready for his session, that Dad loves green. Not only is it
Dad’s favorite, but Cassian looked amazing in greens. Cassian was 9 days fresh and still had all of the fresh baby squishes. While I shoot for photographing newborns between 5-12 days, that’s not always possible and I often photograph babies in the 21 day range and occasionally, a one month baby.

I think that Jonathan couldn’t be more loved by his siblings, if they tried.  I’ve photographed all 4 kids at my studio and I’m enjoying watching them grow.  Mom and I have a special relationship, as I used to be her Girl Scout Leader.  I loved when she picked me as their photographer.  While we were photographing baby Jonathan during his session, we provided a pillow and blanket so that mom could catch up on a few winks and prepare for when the rest of the gang showed up for the family portion.  The beginning is always a perfect time for mom to rest while I work my magic, and while we wait for sibling photos. 

Do you ever wonder what I have at the studio for your newborn session? I have EVERYTHING! My studio is fully stocked and I provide all of the outfits, wraps, props, bonnets and sometimes mom borrows a dress for the session.  Don’t worry, just bring baby, milk and extra diapers and relax.

Elowyn is such a beautiful name to match her natural beauty.  Mom was right when she said she looked great in Blush, but they loved blue for her too.  It’s not often I get to have older siblings in the studio, but this day we welcomed an older teen brother and big sister too.  Shhhh….don’t tell brother, but I caught him sweetly kiss Elowyn on the top of her head after his picture with her.  Talk about heart melted!

Little Miss Gia arrived quietly in the studio, but left having made a big imprint on our hearts.  Gia wanted to make sure we knew she meant business.  But like most every newborn session, calmness and relaxation wash across their tiny bodies and we create some magic.  When I got to one of the setups, I just knew she was meant for the tiny socks.  Mom was so excited to see her in them and I’m pretty sure I heard her say, “This is going to have to hang on the wall”!   Gia also has some cute little dimples that showed up a bit when she smiled.  If you’ve ever wondered….I have all of the props, wraps, outfits, headbands and bonnets for your session. More than any one photographer should have.  Ha! Ha!!  Come check them out!

While we recently had the family in for maternity pictures and got all of the smiles and the bump…it didn’t compare to snuggling with Ava Renee in May of last year.  But, fast forward to December and we got to see how she’s been growing for her 6 month pictures.  We just crammed a half a year in this one blog.  The magic of the internet and time.  

All I have to say is this family makes beautiful babies.  Big brother came in the studio in 2024 as a newborn, and we ended 2025 with baby sister Aria.  Brother did amazing for the session considering he was only 15-ish months old.  

Aria has the best cheeks for “froggy” pose and the most beautiful hair.  She also wanted me to see her eyes….a LOT! Ha! But, we did finally get them to close and we able to get all the cutest photos.

While I may use the same prop here and there…I try to customize your session to have something just a bit different and special.  I ask for a sneak peek of baby after they’re born and look to see what colors work best with baby’s coloring.  Sometimes babies are jaundiced and certain colors don’t always look great with the extra touch of yellow in their skin.  I love that parents trust me with picking out the best colors and outfits.
