I’ve been enjoying all of the maternity sessions that have been coming into the studio…but enjoying the stories more.  

Morgan was my second maternity session in a row where the parents have tried for 10 years to have a baby and are working towards making that wish come true.  Sometimes loss happens along the way, and sometimes parents try and try with no results.  Mom was just glowing for her maternity session and my assistant (Amanda) and I could feel the love and strength the parents had during the session.  I know no one is more excited then they are to meet their baby….but I might come in a close 2nd to welcome this new bundle of joy into their family.

Morgan shared this about their journey…”We got married in 2014 and knew we wanted to start a family as soon as we could. We tried on our own for a few years before seeking help from a local fertility clinic. After multiple failed attempts of different fertility medications, procedures over about 7 years, and multiple miscarriages, I had surgery to remove endometriosis. After a couple more years of trying with fertility clinics, we magically got pregnant on our own! Our sweet miracle will be here around the beginning of March and we couldn’t be more excited!” Miracle indeed!

Remember, when booking a maternity session with me, I have more than 100 designer gowns available for the session in various sizes and colors.  I can do a studio session, or if weather permits…we can shoot outdoors. 

While we recently had the family in for maternity pictures and got all of the smiles and the bump…it didn’t compare to snuggling with Ava Renee in May of last year.  But, fast forward to December and we got to see how she’s been growing for her 6 month pictures.  We just crammed a half a year in this one blog.  The magic of the internet and time.
